Objective of the Workshop and Modalities The objective of the workshop is to bring together an international community of French-speaking doctoral students interested in the evolution of current practices in design and identifying emerging processes.The workshop is proposed as a meeting between stakeholders in the field (architects, designers, engineers, computer scientists, psychologists, semioticians, philosophers, etc.) and aims to exchange on the following aspects:
The workshop aims to be participatory and aspires to provide a discussion space related to the research themes of the doctoral students. Statement of Intent To participate, a statement of intent must be submitted by October 25, 2024, presenting, in one page:
Based on these summaries and proposed questions, the organizing committee will formulate one or more research questions articulating the themes. The workshop will thus serve as a constructive debate space allowing each participant to advance in identifying useful avenues for their research. Registration and Recognition Registration for the workshop is free. Given the participatory nature of the meeting, access will be limited to 20 participants, prioritizing active doctoral students in the targeted fields. Participation in the doctoral workshop will be recognized and certified upon request with an individual certificate of doctoral training worth 2 ECTS.Registration for the workshop is done by sending your statement of intent via email to: pierre.leclercq@uliege.be
